“Hawaiʻi Intergenerational Network – Homesharing Hawaiʻi has taught me the shared importance of companionship. This organization helps many older people who are left living on their own to have someone to look after them. They may not be their caregivers but living with someone can increase each other’s awareness and safety. Living alone can be expensive, especially in Hawaiʻi; Homesharing Hawaiʻi can help reduce the high cost of living. I highly recommend this program to all who are interested and to volunteer in expanding Homesharing Hawaiʻi.”
